YOUTHS HANDS SOCIETY FOR WELFARE was founded in the year 2011 by the advice of Dr. Tuhin Kumar Roy, who is a stroke patient, he felt that many of the unprivileged are not able to get the health treatment properly.
Today Youths Hands Society For Welfare is among few trusted grass root NGOs of India, working to improve the lives of children, women, old age and mission to ensure health with dignity to every underprivileged. We are also running a small physiotherapy center for underprivileged children, women, oldage where we provide basic health care and physiotherapy facility. Our various advocacy projects help children to access their rights to proper healthcare, education, growth and healthy environment. Currently, We believe, that providing basic health care is not enough, under-privileged patients also deserves dignity, at YHSW we ensure the same by providing help to them with basic needs. Year 2012 from the month of November till 15th December we run our share and care campaign, providing winter clothings, woolens and blankets to underprivileged patients in Government hospitals, people living in open on streets. We do not take any Government grants for any of our projects. All our work is supported by our generous individual donors. All the Donations to YHSW is exempted under Section 80G of Income Tax.
We all belong to a society where we want to live with full respect and dignity. However not every section of the society is having equal access to everything. And that is what brings our organization into existence: Youths Hands Society for Welfare Youths Hands Society for Welfare, a charitable organization established in 2011 with the basic motive of providing rehabilitation to the under privileged section of the society. At present we are focusing in the Darbhanga area. We are taking care of their basic needs which include health and education irrespective of their capacity to pay. We are running successfully ortho and neuro rehabilitation center, along with a fully computerized physiotherapy center. We are providing training to health care professionals with a mission to improve the health and well being of our community. The present data shows that every second child is a victim of malnutrition, almost 60,000 are born with HIV each year and many are sufferers of Tuberculosis. People are deficient of basic health facilities. We are active promoters of health and education. Good health of present generation can only ensure healthy future of our country.
